Reasonable prices and good amount of food! I really enjoyed the crispy chicken khao soi! The khao soi was not very spicy, mild but the tables are provided with condiments where you can add spices to taste. Thai iced tea and thai iced lime tea both yummy. Friendly service and super quick to get your orders! The dishes came out super quick! Pretty small restaurant but cute interior, and there was no wait around 2pm on a Saturday.

One of the best street Thai restaurants around Boston! We have a lot of quality Thai places in Boston, but Dakzen stands out by focusing on street-style dishes, having more than your typical pad thai and drunken noodle options, and a smaller, but focused menu.

Small restaurant BIG flavor. Nothing fancy but expect top notch Thai food and very quick/caring service. The inside is cute and has a few tables to eat in. They do TONS of takeout orders around lunch/dinner times. Easily one of the best Thai places around the Somerville area. Won Best of Boston Thai 2019!

Great Thai street food in a small cute place by Davis. Fried gyoza was crispy and hot. Good to start while waiting for main dish. Khao soi curry noodles are so flavorful. Coconut and rich broth with crispy noodles and protein of your choice. My go to. The khao grapow is good choice if you want rice. It’s savory and spicy with fried egg wow amazing. Service was good. Friendly and quick. Water always refilled. Limited space inside it’s small but cute. Also parking might be rough but it’s worth it. They have good drink options to juice and coffee.

I’ve tried a lot of Thai restaurants around here and this one is really the best!!! All amazing, the service, the flavor and great amount the food. I’ll come back here for sure

Dakzen is a very special place. Highly recommend the Khao Soi. One of the best dishes i’ve ever eaten. Creamy. Spicy. Delcious. They have many other tasty dishes here too but the Khao Soi is my absolute favorite. The dining room is small so be prepared to wait a little bit. I usually eat here for lunch on a rainy day. That’s the best time to go. The wait is usually short. Lunch/Dinner rush on a nice day be prepared to wait longer. Food comes out quickly. You can be added to a wait list when you get there so you can walk around without losing your spot. Highly recommend. 10/10

We first visited Dakzen in 2018 when they had just opened, and this is our first time returning since moving back to Boston. The food is still outstanding and did not disappoint. Their Gui Chai Tod is also quite tasty compared to other Thai restaurants. Overall experience with service: 10 out of 10.

I visited DAKZEN for lunch and really enjoyed my meal. I got the Larb Gai with a bowl of rice. It was very filling and flavorful, especially paired with the spices at the table. The Thai iced tea was good and very refreshing. Definitely want to come back to try some of their other menu items.

Safe to say this place is a local favorite for Thai comfort food. We came by on a Friday evening, had about a 30 minute wait so we walked around the neighborhood for a bit. Once we were seated the wait staff was super nice, took our orders quickly and the food came out promptly afterwards. We all got the Khao Soi which was yummy, the chive triangles and the spring rolls. The only thing I was ok on were the spring rolls since they were a bit doughy/only had a few strands of cabbage and carrots, but if you're going for the generic take out spring roll taste then it nails it. Would definitely return to try their other dishes!

Ambiance: Pretty small place but also had a very chill atmosphere. Food: I had to be careful because a lot of items had oyster sauce. The Khao Soi had good flavors, although I think I messed up a bit in getting crispy chicken with it as its meant more for a noncrispy meat. There was a giant what looked fried noodles on it as you can see in the photo, which I didn't really care for / didn't need it. Luckily though it was one piece so I just took it aside Service: no complaints there, very attentive.
